Celebrations Afloat provides a unique wedding experience or function on the beautiful Broadwater on the Gold Coast. Our Lady on the Sea is the name of the famous boat which is more commonly known as the Floating Chapel. The Floating Chapel is a wedding chapel that was built as a boat to provide all of the fabulous aspects the experience of a wedding chapel provides but on a boat. Our Lady on the Sea is a very well known Gold Coast Icon as it can be viewed in it's mooring place, Marina Mirage.
This beautiful floating chapel was hand built with fine details that give the boat it's great character. The floating chapel caters for 50 to 75 people, allowing your wedding the chance to cater for all your guests. The Gold Coast is known for it's beautiful waterways and sun shine, boasting some of the most beautiful views from the water. On board the Floating Chapel, you gain the advantage of this true beauty that can only be witnessed from a watercraft.
The Broadwater starts from Biggera Waters and continues along to Southport where you will find the renowned precinct of Marina Mirage Shopping Mall, The Versace, and some of the Gold Coast's best restaurants and cafes. Alternatively, you will find the brand new park in Southport, the Broadwater Parklands.
The waterways run all the way to Brisbane and is truly an amazing natural wonder of Australia, where else to get married?! Make your special occasion one to be remembered forever.... |

The Broadwater features very calm waterways as it is protected from the Pacific Ocean by land, as the only openening is located at the end of The Spit.
The Floating Chapel can be located to any Broadwater location that suits, however, we have found special areas that are protected from the wind and waves that have proven to be great for weddings on the water. |
